Rodrigo, we'll keep looking for a potato...ugly ones, ha! Seventeen, pg 90-91, Feb 1948. A food editor decided the potatoes being used in a shoot were too ugly, so Pineles took the potatoes herself and painted them on a double-page size sheet of paper. The paintings were then used in this Seventeen spread. These potatoes won her an Art Directors Club gold medal.
