Why Every Travel Blogger Should Be a Travel Agent
Readers follow bloggers because they love feeling like they’re part of the adventure. They envision themselves taking the same journey. Help make their dreams a reality. You’ve already taught them when to go, how to pack, where to stay, and what to eat. Moreover, you already know where to book their stay and how their itinerary should unfold. You’ve already done half the work. Why wouldn’t you take them the rest of the way?

Travel with Purpose
Why do you travel? Set your purpose, then plan activities which support that purpose. My purpose was to enjoy family time. Incredibly engaging and impactful experiences helped us to test our limits, stretch our imaginations, support each other, and make new discoveries together. Time was spent playing, laughing, and creating memories. We met our purpose and I learned not only to travel with purpose but how to better prepare to ensure that I meet that purpose.

As a Las Vegas local, I used to complain that we “have no culture.” Once upon a time, I believed that the only thing my city had to offer the world was the rhythmic dinging of slot machines and the bright, flickering glow of fluorescent lights. I’ve come to realize that Las Vegas is, in fact, far more. So, the next time you’re in town, consider taking a short sabbatical from the strip. Opt, instead to take a journey into our rich and vibrant and past.

Give Your Family the Gift of Travel
What do you want this year? For me, it’s the same thing I want every year, the gift of travel. Take me to the beach. Sail me away on a cruise ship. Book me a bungalow in the jungle; it doesn’t matter. My purpose is to travel, learn, and grow. Although, lazily sipping a Miami Vice with salt in my hair on a tropical coastal shore sounds pretty good, too.
