this is the exact shelf from ikea that is the 'miracle shelf.' i've seen this in soooo many yoga studios. actually- i think black swan in austin has this! anywho... the way this is sort of set up is kind of what i was thinking. probably won't look as 'peaceful' because we need the cubby section to be a bit more useful- and the area perpendicular as well... but this is kind of what i think we should do. the white/light colors aren't bad either. maybe birch wouldn't be bad. i've seen a ton o
