***These activities are all available individually as well. Thanks for looking! :) 1) Polar Animals Poster and Writing Activity These include the following words: caribou, fox, rabbit, penguin, polar bear walrus, whale, seal, Eskimo, igloo, ice. Hang these up during your Arctic unit. There is a corresponding writing sheet so that students can practice writing these words as well. One picture is used twice because there is an odd number of words. Use this in any way you want! Copy front back so that students don't have to juggle multiple papers. Pring out posters on card-stock and laminate them to help preserve the quality. 2) Leveled Number Tracing Mazes (3 Total) Help the Eskimo find his igloo by tracing the numbers in sequential order! The first level has slightly larger numbers and traces 1-10. The next level traces 1-15, and the last level traces nubmers 1-20. Can be used as printables or activity mats. 3) Tracing Alphabet Mazes (3 total) Directions: Print out the pages and have students help the Eskimo find his igloo by tracing the alphabet in order. There are three different mazes. Use these mazes as printables, or laminate and use with dry/erase markers for a fast finisher or center activity. 4) Polar Trace, Count, & Add There are three different levels included. The first level traces, counts, and adds number 0-5. The second involves numbers 0-10, and the third numbers 0-15. You can print these out as a worksheet for students to have, or print and laminate to use over and over again with dry/erase markers. Numbers are in gray scale so that students can easily see their own writing. Each level also includes a matching activity without the numbers, which allows students to demonstrate their ability to write numbers without guidance. Three different levels, six different activities. 5) Polar Animals Emergent Reader & Class Book Students will love learning about all types of polar animals while they practice their reading skills! Included is a class book for the teacher to read to the class as well. Then the students can each have their own copy to color and read! 6) Polar Animal Number Count, Trace, & Write Students count the number of objects in each square. Then they trace the written number word, cut it out, and paste it under the objects. Next to the pasted number word, they write the word on their own. 7) Polar Animal Color-by-Vowel Activities Students won't even realize that they are practicing reading CVC words with these four adorable Polar Themed printables! ***Please rate this item after download.
