Product Details
Centripetal is a universally flattering and fashion-forward sweater that is surprisingly fast and easy-to-knit. The back and sleeves are knit flat using simple increases and decreases, and the rest of the sweater is a large, flat circle created using short rows to build a series of cabled wedges. Short rows making you squeamish? Try the German Short Row Method to maintain your flow and eliminate that pesky wrapping and turning. Pattern is charted to make it easy-to-follow and efficient. If you’ve never used a chart before, don’t worry! It’s easy, and you’ll love it once you get used to it! Line-by-line instructions are NOT included since charts just make everything better. :) Sizes XS (30-32), S (34-36), M (38-40), L (42-44), XL (46-48), 2X (50-52), 3X (54-56)”; XS (76-81), S (86-91), M (97-102), L (107-112), XL (117-122), 2XL (127-132)cm Yarn Knit Picks Biggo (50% Superwash Merino Wool, 50% Nylon; 110 yards/100 grams): 9 (9, 10, 10, 10, 11, 11) hanks Needles US 10.5 (6.5mm) 20”/50cm (or longer) circular needle Cable needle US 10.5/K (6.5mm) crochet hook Gauge 12 stitches / 18 rows = 4”/10cm in stockinette PS - This is not designed as a maternity sweater, but it will work great as one since it can be worn open or fastened above the bump. :) PPS - It is easy to make the sweater longer if you are worried about it coming out a little cropped on you. This is more of a concern for someone who is a smaller size but is also tall or has a long torso. Please contact me if you want to know the very simple mods for this! :)
