Product details
Vintage Aynsley Dinnerware - Indian Tree Pattern - 5-Piece Place Setting
Fine bone china made in England by John Aynsley, in the Indian Tree pattern. The pattern is a reproduction of the Oriental pattern that Aynsley originally issued in 1820.
Presented is a place setting consisting of a dinner plate, salad plate, soup bowl, cup and saucer. There is no bread and butter plate with this set.
The pattern features the iconic crooked tree in a lush landscape encircled with pink peonies, blue and green foliage. All pieces are accented in a gold greek key edge detail and rimmed in gold.
This set was a demo set in a sales room, so it has not seen use, just gentle handling. It is in like n condition.
I am offering this as a full set of 5 pieces.
Dinner plate: 10 1/2" diameter
Salad plate: 8 3/8" in diameter
Rimmed soup dish: 7 7/8" in diameter
Saucer: 5 1/2" diameter
Tea cup: 3 3/8" bowl diameter, 2 1/2" high
Condition: All pieces are free of chips, cracks and crazing. There is some minor tarnishing to the gold rim. The set is in exceptional condition.
Thank-you for visiting!
