When I started designing this mandala, I had the idea of starting in the middle with the darkest colours, then making the colours lighter and lighter as I embroidered outward. It may seem like a complex design, but its individual components are very easy to embroider. This hand embroidery pattern is perfect for those who have some embroidery experience. I include step-by-step instructions, advice on getting started, embroidery tips and a basic stitch guide. This pattern has been designed for a 9" (22.9cm) hoop.
