We use 3/4" maple plywood, so some pieces may include slight lines, cracks, indentations. All the leather we use is purchased from a harness shop that cuts genuine cowhide leather, please understand that these strips will also show signs of character. Cowhide leather can vary in it's thickness throughout, and lines in the strip can have a slight wave. No two signs will look identical.**
