Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake

1hr · 8 servings Ingredients: • 6 egg yolks • 1/2 cup sugar • 1/2 cup butter • 1/2 cup cocoa powder • 2 cups grated coconut • Pinch of salt • 1 tablespoon baking powder • 6 egg whites • 2 cups chocolate syrup Instructions: • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. • In a bowl, beat the egg yolks with sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Add the butter and mix well. Add the cocoa powder, coconut and salt, and mix well. Fold in the baking powder, then gently fold in egg whites. • Pour into a greased cake pan and bake for 40 minutes. • Remove cake from pan and pour the chocolate syrup over the top before serving.
