Happy Star Wars day! - Yoda knows that when we injure ourselves (even slightly!), our bodies learn to adapt and move in ways that don't trigger those new pain points. We learn to walk, sit, run, or stand differently, and in doing so, start to wear out other parts of our bodies. - That's why so much of physical therapy is UNlearning the things you've learned! You must unlearn poor posture, altered gaits, and more in order to stop yourself from further injuring your joints, muscles, and bones.
