Mr. Shifty Review (Nintendo Switch)
Shift through walls! Punch enemies in the face! Dodge Bullets! Mr. Shifty is exactly the kind of indie hit that the Nintendo Switch needs, because it's perfect for shifting between docked and portable play. Find out why in our review.
the poster for slice, dice and rice is displayed in an image with red ink
Slice, Dice & Rice Review
Dash into combat and get ready to slice and dice because one hit and you or your opponent could be as lifeless as a sack of rice. This gorgeous 2D fighter requires quick thinking and lightning reflexes, so learn to harness the battlefield with both your weapon and reflexes in this addicting new fighter. Asian aesthetics and gruesome combat fuel this unique title which picks up the almost long lost mantle Bushido Blade once held.
a man in a futuristic helmet with the word prey on it
PREY Review (PS4)
All I do each night is Prey, hoping Ken Levine will make Bioshock games again one day. An interesting premise and extremely well-executed world building are brought crashing down by off-putting controls and one of the most underwhelming endings I can remember.

World To The West Review
A beautiful and charming action puzzler, World To The West is a fun game for all ages. The characters are unique and interesting, the music is wonderful, and the puzzles strike that nice balance between too challenging and too simple. Despite a few hiccups with the game's controls, I fully recommend World To The West to everyone.
a man standing in front of a fire with the words penumba on it
Penumbra: Necrologue Review
It's been years since the release of Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and even longer since its predecessor, the Penumbra trilogy, came to a close. However, some rare, dedicated savants haven't forgotten the saga that laid groundwork for the 'scariest game ever made', and they have submitted their time and energy to producing a continuation of that story. But the question stands: is it any good?

Guardians Of The Galaxy: The Telltale Series Review (PS4)
Telltale takes a crack at Marvel's rich comic and movie universe to deliver what is perhaps their best title to date. If you watched the recent movies and can't get enough of this intergalactic team, this is the title for you.
The fourth episode of Telltale's The Walking Dead: A New Frontier continues to follow Javier's story as he fights to protect his family in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. Can you make the right choices to protect your family without making enemies? an abstract background with various colorful objects and the word gnog in front of it
GNOG Review (PS4)
Where's your head at? An interesting and relaxing puzzler, Ko_op have created an engaging, if short joy. An incredibly accomplished soundtrack and well implement VR makes GNOG a hugely enjoyable experience.

Cities: Skylines Review - Xbox One Edition (Xbox One)
Can Microsoft's aging hardware cope with the vast scale of Paradox Interactive's ambitious world builder? How can such a detailed game operate with a single controller? And most importantly, is Cities: Skylines really worth the time investment that it demands from players?
