Prawns
300 g jumbo prawns with tail (clean & deveined)
Salt
1 cup Cornflour

•Pat dry prawns with a kitchen towel and make small cuts in on both the top and bottom side
• Crack the prawn and make it straight
•Sprinkle salt all around. Set aside
•Before frying dip the prawns in Cornflour on all sides

Batter
200 g flour (chilled in the freezer)
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1.5 tsp baking powder
400 ml club soda/sparkling water (chilled completely)

•Mix all the dry ingredients together.
•Just before frying add the soda and mix. Form a thin batter
