Usually we knock down conservatories and build extensions in their places, but this conservatory was built so well we converted the existing structure to create an interesting sunroom. Just a small extension made all the difference to the kitchen and created a useful circulation space between rooms. The loft was a challenge, as the building had modern truss rafters. We added cabrio balconies and a double storey stairwell that is flooded with light.
