The shelter’s design is a playful response to more traditional pier design. Nowhere to place the camera to get the angle I wanted and with nowhere to even lean on, I just had to stand as still as I could, hold my breath and shoot by hand. A little fuzzy because of that, but I really like the result showing the pier lights lighting up the boardwalk and the safety ropes at the end of the day. The pier is near our hotel at the Red Sea resort of Makadi Bay, Egypt. (It was a very long pier and great to photograph, so more angles of this pier in my photostream).
