Recently we took on a full kitchen remodel in our first flip house and one of the biggest tasks was going to be painting the cabinet doors and drawer fronts. We knew trying to lay all these doors out was going to be a challenge in itself so we decided to build an inexpensive drying rack that would accommodate all of our cabinet doors and drawer fronts. This DIY painting rack looks awesome for many reasons: Cheap to make. Looks like it would take up hardly any room to store when not in use. You can make the support rods any length, and also make the spacing between the rods just right for the depth of the canvas. Win-win. Making this tonight!!!homemade drying rack made of wire cube and zip ties! Art Drying Rack, Homemade Closet, Drying Rack Diy, Stand Feria, Diy Preschool, Pinterest Crafts, Homemade Art, Diy Classroom, Art Storage

And yet another use for those wire cubes! I've been working on paper a lot, but have learned (the hard way) that wet painted papers STICK TOGETHER. So, my drying rack. It's only attached at three corners so that large journals and papers can fit it, and once again it's held together with zip ties. When I get back to painting on canvas, I'll just turn it on its side to hold even large canvases comfortably.
