Monika Thakur on Instagram: "Muscle Mechanics: Causes of Droopy Mouth Corners”

The droopy mouth muscle, often referred to in the context of facial expressions, involves several muscles:

1. **Depressor Anguli Oris**: This muscle pulls the corners of the mouth downward, contributing to a sad or frowning expression.
2. **Depressor Labii Inferioris**: It helps lower the lower lip, which can add to a droopy appearance.
3. **Orbicularis Oris**: This muscle encircles the mouth and is responsible for closing and protruding the lips, but its tone and function can influence the overall droopiness of the mouth.

Weakness or dysfunction in these muscles can cause a noticeable droop in the mouth.

Let’s work on these muscles with face massage #droopy mouth

1. Choose a small, lightweight object like a ball or pen.
2. Hold the object between your lips without biting down.
3. Lift the object using only your lips and mouth muscles.
4. Hold for a few seconds, then lower it back down.
5. Repeat for 10-15 reps, gradually increasing as you get stronger.

Remember, start with a light object and gradually increase the weight. I am using a silicone facial cup.

There’s many reasons why we have asymmetrical mouth but one of the most important thing is to activate and strengthen the mouth and chin muscle equally but also lift and stretch your neck muscles if they are tense, as they will pull down the corners of your mouth if they shorten. The results is a very heavy lower face and it will affect your whole appearance because when your corners of mouth are sagging the same will happen with your cheeks and eye area, so try this one hole for 15 seconds and let me know if you feel any sensation and if you want to know more about out my course comment course below, and you will Yoga Exercises, Face Massage Techniques, Neck Muscles, Face Yoga Exercises, Face Yoga, Face Massage, Massage Techniques, Spiritual Health, Beauty Lifestyle
