The letter “E” has so many jobs to do . One such is MAGIC E. When the letter “E” comes at the end of the word , before “e” there should be one consonant and if there is any one vowel (a,e,i,o,u ) before the consonant then Magic happens. What Magic ? E will jump over the consonant backwards and go to the vowel friend and change short vowel sound to long vowel sound which is sound of the letter to name of the letter. This magic doesn’t work when there is 2 consonant between E and the vowel .
