This is a formula for making homemade white fireworks strobes that does not use dichromate (a toxic chemical that a lot of strobe formulas do use). This does create more a shimmering effect than a true on/off strobe. The formulas provided are for red strobes but you can easily replace the strontium nitrate in the formula with barium ntirate to get green.
