A Dianic Witch, is someone who practices Dianic Wicca or Witchcraft. Dianic witchcraft is focused on the divine feminine, the female experience and empowerment. Although there are varieties of Dianic Witchcraft, the most common is the ‘female only’, in which they ultimately only worship Diana a roman goddess, accrediting other goddesses to aspects of Diana. Diana is the protector of women, and the untamed spirit.

Dianic Wicca was born of the feminist movement and founded by hereditary witch named Zsuzsanna Budapest in 1971, Venice Beach, California. And on Winter’s Solstice of 1971, she founded the very first Dianic coven called the Susan B. Anthony Coven Number One. And she served as its High Priestess until 1980.
