Handcrafted from speckled stoneware clay, this sculptural ceramic vessel is both a work of art and a functional bowl. The organic shape and patterned exterior are eye-catching, and the bright chartreuse glaze inside is reminiscent of springtime. This unique piece will draw the eye of anyone who enters the room and add a natural touch to your décor. Opening: 5 inches Total Width: 8 inches Height: 7 inches Weight is 4 pounds. This ceramic bowl was constructed from joining freely-cut slab sections, and then paddled to accentuate its organic shape. Glaze and oxides were used to accent the clay's surface. The glaze was prepared by me. This piece was twice-fired in my electric kiln to complete ⏤ first to bisque and then to glaze fire.
