Island Vine Vase Leaf Green

The beginning of the theme on my teapot. I went with vines. To create them I rolled coils then cut them in half and slipped and scored. The leaves were created by rolling balls then creating a point and flattening them.

Hand built ceramic mug with braided vine handle. Swirling vine and leaves decorate the vessel.

Thrown and altered clay mug blending terra cotta with white earthenware. Glazed clear, lead free, food safe.
