Last year my dear neighbor showed me how to make these heart shaped bags. They are simple, and the kids are amazed how they come together. You take a brown paper bag and fold it in half vertically. Then round the top (like a banana). Then cut out half a heart a little farther down - this makes the handle. An adult cut mine out (since my students are having a timeout from using scissors), but if students are cutting them out it's a good thing to add a "x" to the part that will fall away. Then…
