When I first saw “Floating city of Lanac” by First Order Lego (www.flickr.com/photos/157923275@N05/) I immediately thought it's an amazing idea and I need to build my own version. However, I wanted to avoid putting a support pillar in the middle of the MOC. Luckily, my father-in-law did some metalwork that inspired solution I used here.
