Although most of the kings are more than one to a lesson, each king can be taught on its own. When possible, each new king begins on a new page; unless there is only basic information about him and/or there is only a paragraph about him. I have the 40 kings divided into 15 lessons; although if I were to teach them, I would probably take two quarters plus Saul, David and Solomon. Some of the kings will have visuals for the lesson. The kings who followed David and Solomon rejected wisdom and did not listen to sound advice. They had worshipped other gods and so, the land was not at peace. People of faith (Obadiah and Elijah) also suffered because of their beliefs but God sustained them. #godisfaithful
