Took me awhile to find this thread but glad I did. Wanted to show you all my little rendition of this fantastic effect. I wanted a campfire look for my stirring witch prop so I went with a firewood/foam direction with mine. I was concerned with applying foam directly over my rope lights, so I made a two layer effect. Need Help with Cauldron Slime
Looking good ScaryPappa! I pretty much did the same as Dave, except that I allowed mine to clump a bit in a more bulbous fashion. There was a reason for that though, I was hiding green slime colored string lights in the foam, similar to the glowing coals effect. If you're interested in duplicating it, Walgreens and IIRC, Amazon both carry the light strings I used in mine.
