If you know me, you know that I DON’T recommend restrictive diets. Although there are specific times when eliminating a certain food may be beneficial to heal (for a short period of time). Insinuating that you’re cheating, creates a negative mindset around certain food groups. Just because you’re eating a cookie doesn’t mean you’re doing harm to your body in any way. We need to remember that not all food is made equally. Our body reacts completely different to a homemade sourdough bread than an ultra processed white bread, for example.
