What if we start the year thinking about what inspires us to make art, and created a journal page focused on that idea. If kids are making art based upon their personal inspiration, perhaps they will be more engaged! So here's my journal page. I also created a template, with just the words, "What inspires me?", upon which the kids can write or draw.
