With a seating capacity of 1200, this theater graces an area where the existing architectural structures to its south and north exhibit distinct, even incongruous, styles.

Revamping the main building of the Wybrzeże Theater in Gdańsk was a challenging but captivating project for me and my team. Although we have experience designing theaters, operas, and performance venues, this project felt uniquely close and personal to us. Our journey began in 2015 when we won the competition for the new auditorium, and we dedicated ourselves to the design work with varying intensity, persisting until this July.
